Been trying to looking up info on Carrara 6 and then I get a 404 Page error, when I typed in their website, it states that it's upgrading.
Has anyone managed to get to the site?

It's being upgraded. It says it will be back as soon as possible.

Maybe they'll fix it to allow potential customers with outdated systems to view their thumbnails and products without resorting to a proxy or newer system.

I thought that 'born again' meant 'reboot' in computereze? :tongue1:
Daz needs a more alluring render for the "We're sorry... " biz. I mean, if you're gonna disappoint users, at least show NVIATWAS! :0)

Holy Cow! Daz’s website is actually working for my system. It took one and a half years, but better late than never.

actually, I have to take back the mean things I said about CP; I had to get back all my previous downloads (4 pages of them), and they were still there to be re-downloaded again. I'll get my precous 9 gig back eventually..;)
I was on last night at Daz until about 11 EST, must have been later...usually Server upgrades and maintenance is done in the wee sma' hours..(been there, done that..;)

Yea, it's better! Still no Studio 1.8 though. I contacted CNET about it and asked why the delay on getting this software up. We shall see....... The new plugin looks AWESOME. I'll bet you merchants are going to have a blast thinking of ways to use it!!

Looks like the cost of the plugin is the same as getting the new base Carerra.. wouldn't that be a better investment for most people?

Carrara is a good 3D investment, IMO. Especially Pro. I haven't looked at the new plug-in for D|S........but I'll probably be buying Poser Pro soon. And a SpaceNavigator.

Yep DAZ upgraded to new servers this morning, I'm told that they have 10 times the traffic capacity of the old servers. so people should see quite a speed burst throughout the DAZ site.
