This is the most peculiar thing I've ever had happen on Poser.  I've used Poser since version 3 and this has never happened.  I'm using Danae's Manolos. (Incredably detailed shoes by the way) and Judy.  I positioned them perfectly ... I parented them.  It didn't take.  I went into hiarchy editor and parented them that way.  It showed up properly.  But still they stayed where they were.  I even made NEW props from them and tried it.  They didn't even load in the right place.  This is very strange.  I'm baffled.  I've never had anything just ... NOT parent.  Any ideas???

Thanks for your help in advance.

Sincerely
~ Boni ~

Did you try exporting the shoes as obj and then reimporting?

Hmmm. Hea, I'll try that!  Thanx Discoseven!!!  I'll let you know how it works out. :)

Hi Boni :)

It worked for me (exporting to obj then reimporting) - here it is parented to Jessi foot (I don't have V3 installed on this machine).  Let me know if it works out for you :)

Didn't work for me .... I wonder if it's my copy of Poser ... Okay, let me uninstall the prop and reinstall and see if that works.  I'm glad it worked for you and that you went to the work to test it.  You are very helpful.

Sorry it's not working for you. Try this - don't check inherit bends of Parent, and see if that works.

When you are parenting a prop to a different figure you need to go to "Object Menu" and select "Change Parent" and select the body part that you want to parent the prop to.

That I've already done, Arcadia, thank you ... same with the inherit bends, Discoseven, I'm wondering if there is some kind of ... built in code in the pp2 that will only recognize Vicki?  Could that be?  Gotta go start dinner.  I'll be back tomorrow.  Thank you all for your help.  with your help we'll figure this out. :)
