Here is the group at the end of the day... i had a bit of a play with postwork. Vera had the idea and i think it turned out pretty cool (apart from danny moving a bit). It has the feel of the picture you might see on the cover of a CD :)

This is at the start of the day, me and vera were taking photo's away from the other's waiting for us... and it was a bit of a cliche taking photo's of each other moment:

This is chrissy taking a shot at the end of the day which turned out quite nicely:

And i have no idea how Vera's shot turned out but i didnt want to pass up the opportunity for something of a weird angle "picture of a photographer taking a picture" shot... her tripod fell under the cattle grid a few moments later!

Here is my recent upload in the gallery:

Well, I've really not got time to comment here or on any of your uploads from the weekend so far (how inconvenient that work is so busy at the moment!!!)

I promise you though that I will get to your pics to comment on them - I have had a quick look at all the links provided (that really does help, saves time having to go searching for them!) and there are some fantastic shots there - I do have a couple of faves already, but I'm sure there'll be loads more uploaded over the next few days.

Unfortunately, I've not had a chance to do anything with my shots yet (the cold I'd been desperately trying to hold off has kicked in and now I find myself without a voice...great benefit to some, I'm sure!! But I didn't want to do anything last night but sleep!!)

I'll see if I can get a couple of shots of you guys to upload in here tomorrow - I have my "money shot" too LOL!!!

It was great to meet you guys - I think we all got on pretty well and I'd love to do it again sometime soon, when I'm feeling a bit better and can really cause mischief for the boys with Vera!!! (Sorry I let you down on that one V!! LOL)

Chrissy xx

PS - I love that ghosted group shot Rich - it turned out really well and we did have some fun doing it!! xx

Apologies for the quality (or lack thereof in my photos - a combination of batteries not holding their charge plus me not being on top form meant that most of my shots are either out of focus or just badly composed etc LOL!! But they are just memory shots!!!)

This is a shot of Rich, who when reviewing my pictures in the bar in the evening, had no idea what he was doing here!!!  Perhaps he was counting his fingers???

OK, here's my "money shot" LOL!!!  I'm just so disappointed that the focus is out on this one and I couldn't retrieve it in Photoshop unfortunately!!  I just loved the "position" that Vera and Rich are in in this one - it could be misinterpretted by smutty-minded people such as ME!!!!   LOL!!

This is a pretty poor quality shot taken in the field whilst setting up for some sunset shots. The light was fading nicely by this point. It was just after this one that Rich decided to take a group shot and with Vera's brilliant suggestion, we ended up with that fantastic "ghost" image that Rich has already posted!!

I was helping her take that shot which is in the LWitG - there was a branch in the way so i was holding it out of frame - she did the same for me :)

Here is the other group shot Vera wanted to see:

Something we didnt consider when taking this type of shot was that the background plays a very important part in making detail of faces etc discernable in the final shot.

Here's my couple of Vera in the bar that I forgot to load to my cd yesterday (soz V!!)

Both of these shots were not composed at all, they were just set up in an attempt for Carl to take a "picture in picture" shot so I was just holding the camera towards Vera - we got a little bored waiting for Carl to press the shutter so I did LOL!!!  The first one is the one that Vera thought she looked nice and innocent in, so I had to show you that one (after all, she is anything but innocent LOL!!!)

@ Rich: Yes, I did know the full meaning of that phrase as Carl had explained it to me only a couple of weeks ago however, I'd forgotten - hence my embarrassment when I realised LOL!!

BTW - Totally hate that shot David, although perhaps more appropriate in this thread than in the gallery!!

Yes Rich, the leaf shot was taken from that bench - in one of my quiet moments before I had coffee and chocolate inside me at lunch!!  I actually quite like that shot of me - which says a lot cos I normally hate my photo being taken unless I have my make-up done nicely with hair tidely groomed!!  Yes, I do look relaxed but this shows why there was a slight lack of sharpness in my leaf photo without the use of tripod and on a zoom shot too!!

I don't remember you taking that lunchtime photo either, but again, another great shot from you!!

I do love Carl's puddle shot of you though - that's a brilliant capture and I too would love to see your shot from that when you get it done (unless you have already - I'd better go and check out your gallery!!)
