Hi,
I've downloaded a few free props for V3. and it contains obj and rsr. files in a folder.
I've copied them into efrontier / Poser Content / Victoria3 / runtime / libraries / props.
When I click on the folder it does not contain anything.
Did I do something wrong??
I would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks.

skyjay - obj files have to go into the Geometries folder. If there's no link to this then nothing will load. What folders were there in the download file?

What were the props? It sounds like some files are missing.
The .obj file would go into the geometries folder. The .rsr file goes into the props folder, but there should also be a .pp2 file.
You can import the .obj file into Poser. Go to "File" and "Import" and pick "Wavefront Object". That will import the prop into Poser. You can then resave it to your library props folder.

I'm sorry guys..
I have obj. file and mtl file.
I've put obj. in geometries folder and mtl. in prop folder.
And nothing loads...
Any suggestions?
Much appreciated~!

if you have just an OBJ and MTl what you have is a mesh file with its material listing.
These are not poser library files at all :)
You will need to Import the obj. then you can save it into your library where it will automatically make a pp2 (poser library prop file)

So the .rsr file goes to props. Is this in the runtime folder or just poser 5?

"So the .rsr file goes to props. Is this in the runtime folder or just poser 5?"
Neither. (I know, it's confusing, innit?)
Move both the .obj file and the .mtl file into a folder of your choice within the Runtime/Geometries folder. Ignore (or otherwise throw away) the .rsr file.
Start Poser. Go to File->Import, select the "Wavefront .obj" option, then navigate to where you save the prop (you know where to start: Runtime/Geometries...)
Import the prop. You'll get a dialogue with several options. For now accept the defaults and click OK.
The prop should load into Poser, stage centre, on the ground, at average Figure height.
You can now select the prop (I'd suggest you point the main cam at it and set up a reasonable point of view - zoom in/out as necessary), open the Props library and click on the little "+" button at the bottom and, after responding to the "name" dialogue that follows, the prop will be saved to the library (as a PP2 file). The current Preview will be used as your Icon for the prop (that'll become a .PNG file with the same name as you've given the prop).
This will save the whole prop (including the geometry) into the props folder. You can now load that prop directly from the Props library.
Some advice:
Cheers,
Diolma
