I use poser 7 SR1.
There's some problem in "ray tracing" reflection.
When I select any material and set the relfection property
(light - ray trace, black background color, and the value of reflection is 1)
The firefly rendering result is shown as follows.
There are several weird textures appeared.
I searched and read some articles about the reflection,
but I cannot find the solution until now.

Is there anything other then that black ball to even reflect in the scene?
Also is that a poser ready item or something you imported? Try it first on a simple poser ball prop, learn what's going wrong with that, and then try that on a complex item.
Only guess I can make is checkmark "normals foreward" on tjhe car's body material.
Looking at the top of the driver side door, it does appear that normals are NOT all facing forewards in that material. See the reflection at the top of it that appears to be floating above he door?
Also update your poser to the latest release, not just the first poser update.

If you have no background for the material to reflect, then it defaults back to the 'background' colour selection, which, IIRC, is set to black as default. Thus, without any objects for the reflective material to refelect, all you will get is a black material zone.

The outer limits of Poser Scene Space is Void, it has no Object, Light, Material, etc.; so thats What you're seeing as reacting through your Reflective Material. If you really want(, Poser's most accurate,) Raytraced Reflections, then you need to enclose an Object(that has a Reflective Material,) with another Object; i.e. a nice simple Sky Dome, or a Room Prop, etc.
This thread uses a Mirrored Ball; to Exemplify what Poser can create, as a Sky Dome, for itself:
If this is going to cause problems, i.e. the Color Gold you usually want would come out too Green for you favorite Blue skies; then you can generate the reflections from a Map(, you may have applied to the Sky Dome:)
1.) Go into the Material Room.
2.) Load the Object you want to apply the Reflection to.
3.) Create an Image_Map node.
4.) Load that other Sky Dome Map.
5.) Plug it into the PoserSurface's Reflection Node(Then check to se if there is a Reflection Value node to make sure it its at 1.)

it's weird-looking, mag. add a skydome and some objects, raytrace bounces 4, raytracing on, shading rate 0.2, uncheck refl-lite-mult in materials room.

Hey that's a standard problem with things that were not made for Poser, and even some that were. Almost every car I download from that french car site does that.
Many props have complicated, twisted 4-sided polygons, meaning they form a saddle shape. Poser doesn't render those correctly with reflections.
Then too, there are reversed normals that cause issues. Clicking Normals_Forward can help with that.
Some solutions can be found by messing with the Ray Bias in the Reflect node. Increasing the bias will sometimes make it stop getting confused. However, increase too much, and the reflection ray doesn't hit nearby things.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

tripling the "bad" polys will also help a lot, but will of course increase poly count and system load.

First, thanks for the answers.
I can remove those wierd patterns by increasing the ray bias,
but it makes less reflection as bagginsbill said.
Since I'm really newbie to this 3D things, I cannot understand something like "tripling bad polys" now.
I think I have to give up this car (because other one does not makes problem at all),
and have other trials using poser.

If you are a beginner, then using content designed for poser will lessen the issues you have, and give you time to learn various techniques. Once you get more advanced, then you can stretch your legs, and attempt more technical things.

Four months after the original post, another guy, on the other side of the world struggles with strange reflections showing up on his Lightwave car rendered in Poser6. He is close to madness as 2 days of tweaking and repainting maps can not eradicate these strange anomolies. Finally, he does a search at Poser forums and voila! "Thank you, thank you!! It's so simple A child could do it, a child could do it!" Normals forward, tick! Refl-lite mult, un-tick!

I'm dying to but its pre-release, at this point its pre-submission and wouldn't be prudent to show at this stage. Thought I was moving on but now I'm trying to figure out how to get around that it un-welds seams on where materials change or perhaps its UV coordinates I have a gap and I'm trying to weld it in Poser, in LW there's no problem. If you have any magic bullets for that problem, you have my attention. Thanks for the support. don
