I haven't seen any fuzzy slippers with heels, but I wouldn't mind a pair!

Look at the Babydoll clothing at RDNA. There's a seperate set for many different figures, and they have cute slippers. They may even be part of the huge sale over there tight now.

Thanks for these leads. But the thing is I am still working with MilVicki2 and the original MilPTs with V2 Morphs. So if I get anything conforming or dynamic I won't be able to use it. I have asked if there is a way to convert conforming shoes to regular props especially those that are low and do not need to conform to the upper legs but would work fine just fitted to the foot or toes but have not found any easy ones to follow.
Some conforming shoes that come in seperate left and right elements have smart propped but may many more come in conforming as a set and I don't know how to break those up. I have many of such shoes both purchased and freebies and for the most part cannot use them.

You can save conforming footwear by exporting each shoe as an .obj file and then import them back into poser, fit them to your needs, smart prop them to your figure then save them as a prop. I do this all the time for shoe I want to fit other characters. Don't know if this is any help for you but it's an idea.

Does that method save all the UV mapping for the shoes too? Example I have Antons old and beautiful Jewels Set from DAZ for Vicki2 and being conforming I couldn't use them for MilPT. But the textures are great for the items. If I convert those conforming shoes to .obj will I still be able to use the original textures? Same issue applies to the beautifully cool Elf set for LaRoo at DNA. Those fairy slippers are gorgeous but the conform to LaRoo only. Would love to have them for other MilCharacters.
Is there an "EASY" tutorial how to do this somewhere?

As long as you do not make any changes to any part of the model the textures and templates should still work. As far as a tutorial do you mean the smart proping of the footwear?

No, the setting up and the exporting part of it.

Okay well give me a little time here and I will put it here on this thread.
Darboshanski posted Wed, 14 November 2007 at 3:20 PM
Okay here it goes:
Open poser and bring in the conforming footwear of your choice.
Select the shoe and then export it as a wavefront OBJ
The following dialog box will open use the boxes that are check marked and click ok
After this another box will open asking you what you want exported from the scene
After you have selected the parts you want exported click ok and another
box will open
I would leave the boxes you see checked, click ok, name and save the .obj to where ever you keep .obj files.
Darboshanski posted Wed, 14 November 2007 at 3:28 PM
Now bring in what figure you want to use i.e V3,V4, and go to file> Import>Wavefront OBJ and bring in your shoe.obj
A new box will open I would just leave the default boxes checked
Now you will need to scale the shoe down to fit your figure. This may take a litte time
and patients but for the most part you can get the shoes to fit.
Once you have the shoe fitted to the way you want and parented to your figure and named save it to your props library. The shoe should take all your textures as we have not changed the original model in any way.
Cheers!
