With Quentin, Jepe's new figure at Daz, you get these render instuctions:
"Use the FIREFLY Renderer in Production Mode for your Final Render.
Have "Smooth Polygons" and "Raytracing" checked.
Have "Texture Filtering" unchecked.
Set the "Maximum Texture Resolution" to a value of "4000" and the Minimum Shading Rate to 0.1 or lower, otherwise the high-res bodyhair and eyebrows will appear blurry in your final render! "
Questions:

  1. How do you uncheck Texture Filtering"?
  2. How do you set the "Maximum Texture Resolution" to a value of 4000" ?
  3. How do you set the "Minimum Shading Rate to 0.1 or lower" ?
I know how to do the rest and have search all through the render setting and even the material room (which seems very intimidating) and an't fugure out how to do these last steps. It is not as obvious as the other directions.
Thanks to all for any help with these render instructions.
    Tim

Texture filtering is in your Render settings.  Just uncheck it.
Max Texture Resolution Ditto.  Change the value in the box to 4000.
Minimum Shading Rate Ditto.  Set as directed.

texture filtering and max texture resolution apply to Poser 6 and don't appear in 7

Min shading rate is under the manual option of the render settings

Thanks to both of you for helping. . . now I know why I could not find some of there. . . they are not in Poser 7. Thanks FrankT!

I still do get the blurring that is mentioned, so something is amiss. . . I like Poser, but it seems overcomplicated about some things.

Attached Link: svdl's texture filter script

Texture filtering can be turned off in Poser 7 in the material room. It's on the image map nodes, and can be set to none, fast or quality.  There is a script available by svdl that will turn off texture filtering in one fell swoop.

Thank you Raven! I have combed and searched for that script for months now, but could never find it.
