Greets,

  I use 6XStream boxed version cause thats what  i got from the US upon request,but my 2 year old has decided that it works better in his player than mine,now having reinstall issues.I want to buy a new one next week,but i am in Malaysia at the moment and dont want XStream again,so I am going for Infinite,the download version is 100+ cheaper than boxed,but am not sure what/how/when of the boxed version.What if my internet crashes during download? As it may because it is Monsoon season(; Is the support and updates the same? What am i risking if anything by getting the dl version?

If I remember right, you have 3 download attemps allowed, so if one goes wrong, you can still try it later. I don't remember if resume is supported by the e-on dowloader.But why would you buy it again? I suppose e-on wouldn't mind sending you a new CD , though maybe not for free, but wouldn't cost as much as buying Infinite, unless of course you need it where you are now.
One more thing, if you go to your account page over at e-on, and have a look at your orders, if you click on your xStream product, does it give you the option to download it?

My mommy bought it for me last xmas:D cause she lubs me:P But seriously,I just want to get it a fresh copy my CD is fried and.XStream i got for cinema but it is so damn buggy,and not using Cinema to much these days,wifey wants to do something nice in return for the carats i got her,cant think of anything else i need ATM,so why not.But as i said,living in Malaysia i really dont trust the mail here,nor do i wanna wait for 6 months.So I thought this was the logical way to go,if not then i will have to buy the box of course,just wanna avoid it if possible(; Although,not to sure how long it'll take to process the order either...

I'd contact e-on.  There is no reason to buy a whole copy because your disk is bad.  With xStream, you can run standalone so it is just the same as Infinite.

Well ma'am,I am going to need it for my first comercial project by next Monday,and wanted to take the fastest route(; and as I mentioned even after the updates it is still buggy.Although my disk isnt totally fried it just takes a couple tries as Vista is anal about old and scratched disks.I cant even play alot of my older(2 years) games,but like Vue Vista is wonderful enough to deal with a few bugs:D IMHO.And I just thought a new more stable version would suit me(;

If you have a Fast Internet Connection, and I don't what Malaysia has in the way of Internet Speed, but it really doesn't take that long to download. Infinite is a 890MBs and at 300KBs per second download would take 51 minutes give or take a few due to setup and such. Really not that long even in Monsoon season, but brother if you are on dial-up forget it  #^P

Hi Paul. I've always gotten the download version, and it has worked fine. I cut the download version to a DVD/CD after downloading, and used that to re-install when my last motherboard faded away. Also, on another occassion, I needed to ask e-on software to allow me to have more downloads (for a legitimate reason), and they were quick to respond. Got the extra download ability within 24 hours of making the request.

Hey Pam,

 That sounds great.I am going to go for it then(; I will get it and burn it for safe keeping(; About on average how long does it take to process the order and get a download link? I am sure updates and upgrades work the same way huh? No limitations ect. ?

Normally, buy one day, get the link the next.
