Hi Everyone,

I am creating Memorial/Tribute pages on my website for Don Tatro. I would love some tributes from members here and who would give me permission to put what they have said on the pages. His widow will be visiting these pages.

If you would like to contribute could you please add it to this thread.

I was sadden when Creepy Clowns downloads com was taken off the internet. I have follwed his work for several years and, would love these downloads to remain on the internet so that we can continue to share. I emailed his widow explaining exactly what I wanted to do and asking permission. I recieved a reply with permission/licence to host and offer these downloads.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
Love

Very nice idea. But do you want words or images?

BTW I think I got the last CC version on my pc somewhere if anybody wants it.

What a lovely idea.  I hope someone does that for me after I'm gone, it's a way to leave an impression.

It would be an honor. I knew Don for several years thru the Bryce forum. Always found him to be a kind and patient man, and so full of humor. There were so many times that seeing his artwork and his posts would brighten my day. Don was the best medicine for life. creepy clown will always be a classic. Miss ya Don.
God bless

I didn't know Don Tatro....in fact, until this morning, I didn't know he had passed way.  I just always thought he had made the wonderful Creepy Clown and hundreds of 3d models.  I had downloaded through the B's, I believe.

I have read awesome things about him today.  He was well loved by the community.

This made my cry:

I posted and was so afraid the Rendo Mods would feel it was too late or I didn't know Mr. Tatro at all to post.

I didn't know artists who passed away before I was born, but that doesn't make me want to see their work!!!

Oh, my gosh!!!!  While trying to get more info for you, I found your website!!!!  YOU ARE hosting his models.

God Bless you, Heavenly_Spirit, for doing this!!!!  I am not certain if you want this told or not.

I have not looked to see if there is a place we can thank you and his family for allowing this!!

You are doing a good thing here.  From what I understand, Mr. Tatro didn't want anything in return for sharing his wonderful models.  I don't know if he, also, had models for sale.  If he did, and I can still purchase them, of course I would.  My mom was left with very little when my dad passed away.  His retirement plan had provisions in it.  I have no idea if Mrs. Tatro needs financial help or not.

Well, I do see why you went to bat for this artist.  I wish I could have known him through the forums!!!

If you ever had any more info, please let me know.  Thank you again:)

Thank you Jan

A few friends of mine as well as myself were saddened when creepyclown.com was taken off the internet. Why it was taken off the internet is unknown to me.
I only knew that it would not have been Don's wish to stop sharing with others, this is why I asked permission from his widow to host them. I have permission/licence to offer these for download on my site so that people can continue to share and enjoy.

God Bless

Great idea! I have all of the models on disk here somewhere. I am glad I took the time to get them. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
