I got Poser 4 on Monday (13th April), and I'm only just getting my head around it. The basics are okay, but when it comes to the more subtle alterations, I haven't a clue. For example, if I wanted to create a more voluptuous figure on one of the preset female characters, how do I create a morph target for the that attribute?I've tried using magnets, but it just makes a mess of it; I either get it too wide, strange or just plain wrong! Also, once I download a file from this site, where do I place it? I get confused between all the different folders. Thanks JoeBlack

I've got few answers, but when somebody only got Poser on Moday I feel compelled to have a go. Hopefully more complete answers will be forthcoming. I'd suggest you forget about the magnets for a couple of weeks unless you have something very precise you want to do and can't download something appropriate. what you download will either come in a cr2/rsr pair, or as an obj. file (note cr2 is for a character, a face for example comes as fc2/rsr). The cr2/rsr pairs have to go in Poser library directory they wre meant for,. ie. my downloaded characters go in C:Program FilesMetaCreationsPoser 4RuntimeLibrariescharacter. They then appear in POser inside that big menu on the right and you can use them just like the original poser figures. obj. files might be objects, but what you are talking about are morph targets, they can go anywhere you want. Download the morph that you need, many are available on this site, then inside poser, select the body part you want to change, go to Object/Load Morph Target, and locate the obj. file in the window that pops up. A dial is added to the body part in Poser and you can mess around with the setting to your hearts content. Voila, a voluptuous lady wtih none of the magnet things that only the gods understand.
