How do you make the ocean calm or fairly calm after it is inserted into the scene. The default is way too rough.

See attached, or click on the Spanner in the top RH corner of the screen.

If you are trying to adjust wave speed etc, there is an adjustment spot as arrowed. Also to be clear on the workings have a good read of the Help.

Thanks, I had to figure out how to set the time on my own, when you pay a lt of money for these 3D programs they should at least explain things in the help section instead of just telling you what some of the features are for.....

Can anyone give a step by step on how to animate the ocean?

bwtr posted Mon, 10 December 2007 at 4:36 PM

The Ocean is allready "animated" which you will see if you move the blue arrow head as indicated. ALL you need to do is adjust the amount of rise and fall, speed, and wind direction. HOPE that helps.
