Attached Link: My anime art
I'm looking for all of the anime artists and fans that have any tips or product recommendations for creating good anime art with poser. I probably have most of what will be recommended but there is always that possibility that I will learn something new.If you know of a book, good anime series or movie, or just want to say what you like about anime then I want to hear it. If you have some anime art on your page then let me know so I can take a look .
For me I like the color and storyline of anime. I use the Aiko3 model to help make my anime influenced art .

Almost forgot to add these to the list:
Software to use for making digital anime:
Photoshop, Paintshop Pro or any graphic software that uses layers and vectors..
Daz Studio, Poser, and the Aiko3 morphs
I know there are many poser artists that take pride in not doing post work, but Photoshop CS allows me to combine my other artististic skills with poser. For me having the option to add to a work is a plus.

I also wish there were some software to automate the process of producing cel-shaded line-art of the sort that appears in anime DVDs, but the various toon shaders associated with poser are not suitable for animation IMVHO. perhaps we'll see something new and improved in poser 8 (smith micro).

I hope poser 8 is runs better than poser 7. Hopefully they will bring out more "anime features" for poser 8 instead of "toon features."

or do it in poser 7 using olivier's art materials in conjunction with semidieu's shaderworks. these r at www.runtimedna.com go to plasq.com for speech balloons and panels etc I think it would be really hard to make a continuing comic unless there are really easy ways of applying the toon materials like I now use. it's just so much work making the pics and writing etc anyway, that if you add the burdon of all the setting up for complicated software you'd never get more than one page done in a month. love esther ps i don't do manga but to see celshading done quickly and easily mostly poser 7 see my gallery- as the story goes along I experiment with various techniques but mostly using the above. The posing tooning using olivier's stuff is the only CG tooning that seems to be okay with transmapping really easily.I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

I did the picture at this linked thread in Poser 7. Straight render, just using the Toon wacro in the material room. Nice gallery by the way.Miss Nancy posted Sun, 25 November 2007 at 4:42 PM
if anybody has got a link to a poser animation done using olivier's shaders, please post the link to said animation.
