Is it possible to have the templates included as a requirement for any new models being submitted to RMP?

There are often times when I'd like to create an expansion set, and there UV maps are not included, and I have to contact the vendor, often to no avail.  In most cases I can use my UV mapping tool, but for more complexe items, this doesn't always work.  (such as hair, or items with multiple parts)

I'd love to see the maps included in the zip file, or at the very least have a link to download them be a requirement.  Is this possible in the future?

Or does any one know of a tool, other than UV Mapper Pro that can handle making UV maps properly for items with intricate detail?

Thanks!

If it come's to that .. I sure have second thoughts on selling things here.
If some one like to ad them fine but making it a Must .. is one rule to many in my book.

Vendors are not required to provide the UV templates for their models.  There are some vendors that would prefer to not have texture makers make addon packs.

Really?  That is strange.  Wonder why that is.

Thanks for the input none the less Deb.  Guess I'll stick to asking the vendors and hope they at least respond either to say no, or to offer the maps.  :-)

Some artists would rather have select texture creators working with their products so as to not have any "sub standard" textures created for their work.  There aren't many that I know of, but there are a few that would rather select who they want creating addon's :)

'sub standard' ???
I thought Rendo didn't allow such things anymore.  ;-)
Although I suppose they could go elsewhere to post their work.

Anyway, I suppose I went a little off topic... hee hee

It's a constant work in progress, but of course opinions differ :)

Wolfie, You can get UV viewer free here : http://www.ralf-sesseler.de/d3d/  just go to freebies>Tools I find it works great for making templates from objects that have a lot of different parts or overlapping zones its easier to seperate them.
