I didn't know where to post this, but I have a number of Adobe User Manuals, including one for Photoshop 7, that I want to give away because the other alternative is to thrown them out. I'm bogged down by too many manuals that I don't use anymore and I'm planning to move next year and don't want to take up space for things I don't need. I also have a few Adobe Classroom In A Book manuals that I'm also willing to part with.
Can I legally give away the user manuals or should I just toss them? As for the "Classroom In A Book" books, I noticed there are a number of used ones already available on Amazon.com, and I've never sold anything there so that might be a problem.
If I can give them away (recipient pays postage), where do I start? I searched online, but the only thing I found close to what I was asking was "Half Price Books" and their website noted that "dated" books don't sell very well. I also don't know about the legality of giving away user manuals. I'm not sure if this violates the TOS for the company that distributes the software. I also have the Poser 5 & 6 manuals that I no longer need.
