Will Poser 7 run in Windows ME?

Windows ME isn't listed as one of the options.

I'm going to say probably not.  But I could be wrong on that.

nope it probably won't run.

Poser Six ran on 98SE until SR1. at that point Six no longer runs without some hackerypokery.. and since there were a futher 3 SR's and then Poser 7 + 2 SRs... so it's unlikey (ME being a quick botchjob on 98SE....)

Windows ME is an abomination masquerading as a heap of cr@p.  I'd seriously consider upgrading it to 2000 at the very least.  ME causes so many problems it's unreal

I agree with FrankT here.  The couple hours of joy that I experienced with both the beta (MSDN) and the commercial version were enough to drive me back to NT back then.  I went from 95 to 98/NT to 2000 to XP Pro and never even considered ME again.

And I love this: There is a riddle in Windows CE, Windows ME, Windows NT.  They spell CEMENT. :)

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.

CEMENT!  Ha!  ROFL!  So, is this a clue that having Vista loaded on your machine is about as effective as filling the case with cement?

Really, I had no problems with ME over a period of five years, with either P4 or P5.  Now I'm looking at trying P7 on Vista, and I'm nervous about it, hoo boy....

But I'm effectively OT, once again....  Sorry.  😊

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

Well, for some reason render speed in poser 7 has doubled for me when I switched to Vista from XP.
