Because I've been using poser for a while my runtime folder's quite large.  Are the thumbnails taking up memory space?  If so, how much?

I have many (50!) odd GB of runtimes accesable through C6 and I see no sign of effect on Carrara speed.

Thats the Mad Hatters Hat-- I thought you knew that !  Think of it as a tea cosy where I keep cups of hot ideas!

Yes, Alice, I know about the White Rabbit and what the doormouse said.
(They have books in the US, and if not books, the Jefferson Airplane. We be educated.)

--- I just wondered what you kept in the hat.
-- isn't there supposed to be a playing card stuck in the hatband ---

Is this off-topic, or what? =8^)

was that where matt groening went to school (UofO, eugene)? mentioned because two of his cartoom programmes rely more or less heavily on 3d animations.

Please note that "U of O" actually refers to the University of Ottawa (Canada) :)

oops, sorry about that! anyway, I noticed that c6pro was the same speed before and after adding several runtimes from main, firewire and slave drives. it also prompts me if one of the firewire dirves is turned off. what may slow it down is a poser figure with alotta parameter dials.
