Just bit the plastic bullet and purchased Wardrobe Wizard version 2.15 and just tried a quickie conversion of V3's vampire bride by Royloo to Miki 2.
Well the result just blew me away, WHY DID I WAIT UNTIL NOW??????
I now have a potential new set of clothes for my favourite character [Miki 2] that I never thought possible and have new use for clothing I thought was essentially redundant in my runtime.
Thank you PhilC and Kamilche for an excellent product!!

Yes update emails are also going out to existing Wardrobe Wizard 2 customers. They take a while to process because, (a) there are a lot of them and (b) if I send too fast they just bounce back. I expect they will have all gone out by this evening. If you purchased via Content Paradise you can simply download the file again.
The primary reason for the update was to make it much easier for folks to do the V4, V41 and Apolloy analysis.

I have not recieved any notice to 2.15. Guess I need to go to Phils site and see what's up with that.
Thanks for the heads up on new version even if unintended. LOL
OK so phil beat me to the punch, must learn to type faster.
Forgot to ask,do the new adon figure come with the update? BJD is the one I was hoping for and Sadie.

Yeah, Phil and Kamaliche deserve an award for having come up with Wardrobe Wizard. I use it every single time I'm in Poser and I can't ever imagine going back to using Poser without it. Earlier this year when I got my new computer I realized I hadn't saved my serial dat file and was in a huge panic! LOL! Phil must have thought me mad when I wrote to him. I think I gave him everything but my shoe size by way of information to prove to him that I was who I said I was so I could get a replacement serial dat file! LOL

With Outlook, you just set up a Distribution list and keep adding new customers to it. When you need to send an email to all of your customers, you add it to the BCC field, and ~away~ she goes. I couldn't cope without this dealing with hundreds of customers (can't imagine thousands). :)

Unfortunately my experience is that most spam filters, (personnel or ISP) look at the BCC list and if there are more than a set number they consign it to the trash. I therefore use purpose made emailing software for customer notifications. Even then I'm getting a significant number of returns from folks whose mail box is full or who do not have me on their friends list.

Is it supposed to look any different after instaling those files? I just downloaded and installed and it looks exactly the same even onto the version number.
PhilC posted Fri, 14 December 2007 at 4:23 PM
Yes, you should be getting an email. A quick glance tells me that there are only about another 500 to send.
PhilC posted Fri, 14 December 2007 at 4:26 PM
If your version does not say 2.15 then check that you have downloaded the file and not just retrieved it from your cache.
Always close Poser before installing. It is possible that Poser will "hold onto" existing files preventing them from being updated.

But it's all installed, and tested out, and I can now have Apollo's advanced scaling dials in my clothing!

I can;t say how much your work has meant to me in relation to Poser. Your original CD for creating poser clothing was one of the first major purchases I made WAY back when. It's probably one of the few things that helped me understand how to create content for Poser.
And you're STILL providing amazing support for the community! If there is ever a Poser Hall of Fame you certainly deserve to be in it!

In the stand alone, when you click HelpAbout what version does it say just above the copyright notice? The actual version will also be printed out when you click the HelpVersion menu. You'll need to scroll the status window text up a little to see it.
In the plug in click the Version button. The version number will be displayed just above your registration details.
Everywhere else its just a generic Wardrobe Wizard 2 to differentiate it from Wardrobe Wizard 1

Yep. Under the new Figure>Morph functions. You can move any non-body dials (including face/head dials) into the Body of the figure and then analyse them.
I guess you weren't part of the second round of beta testers?
I've been re-converting like crazy to add the ADS Scale dials. So very happy now :) And because of this, I can convert clothes made for Apollo that didn't include the Scale dials (like much of RDNA's stuff).

I've not gone through every piece of documentation changing the version number. Generally you'll see it as Wardrobe Wizard 2.0 to differentiate it from the original Wardrobe Wizard. To see the actual definitive version number click the version button or helpversion menu in the stand alone. HelpAbout will show it also in the body of the text but not in any title.
Hope this clarifies.

Hiya!
Quick question - I've purchased "clothing converting" programs before, but I can't quite get them to work so well. What is this one like? I'm really excited!!! (Running over to Content Paradise with credit card) .... Coz I'll admit, when I first started using Poser I collected and bought TONS of outfits for Aiko ... but now that I've got V4 I'd love to use them alternately.
... Can I get your (all's) opinions and thoughts please and thanks? -- I don't use V3 at all, but I've always dreamed of getting Aery Soul's V3 outfits and using them for Aiko or V4 - Has anyone tried these conversions from V3 outfits = A3/V4 -- and how did you like the outcome? This is pretty exciting!! Thanks in advance! hugs

Can someone please tell me if all I have to do is check a few boxes and click convert, or do I have to adjust the clothes on the new character? I am impaired with anything more complicated than "inject pose", LOL!
Letterworks posted Sat, 15 December 2007 at 5:12 PM
drifterlee,
Some of the answer to your question is subjective. I tend to do a little tweakng to JPs, and grouping, and, sometimes to the mesh, after converting a figure to get it "just right". But for the most part if you aren;t doing extreme close ups with extreme poses, and don;t mind the possibility of a MINIMUM of post work... Yes you can get VERY GOOD results by just clicking the appropriate boxes and maybe tweaking the included smothing morphs.

Sorry to bother, but does anyone have any suggestions? Should I restart my computer maybe?

The only adjustments I needed to do were a little smothing and inflation on the shoes, and shrinkwrap on the top.
And after comparing the conversion to the original, I'd be hard pressed to identify the original if I'd never seen it.
