Hi all, It's been a long time since I created any content for sale and I now have a new package that I'm working on, but I'm missing a tool I used to have that I definetly got here. It was called Merchant tool or Merchant utility or something like that and it did the following: Made a list of the items in your folders for your readme Changed version number and most importantly, changed the information in your .pz2 so that it didn't call for the drive like this :textureMap "F:P5 extra runtimesVictoria 4Runtimetexturesfolderfolderfile.jpg" but changed it to look something like this :folder:folder:file.jpg Sure, I can do it by hand, but it'll take forever and I remember this tool being very handy for doing all these things for me. It used to be free, and I've searched all the free stuff pages under poser utilities for it. maybe it's a sale item now, I don't know. I tried Poser Parser, but it's not doing the things I need. It lists the items in my runtime/libraries folder, but not my textures folder, so I still have to do all that by hand. So if anyone knows the name of this wonderful program & where I can get it, please do let me know. Thanks in advance! =) Detniat

Ok I did find the File List Maker by laetia, and that'll take care of the listing of files for the readme, but I'm still looking for this Merchant Utility. I see in some people's readmes, they state "This package was tested using the Merchant Utility by (Caroline Tardif) and was found to have no errors." So, where is this mysterious Merchant Utility? hehe. Thanks again.

It's not there, I looked. That's how I managed to find the file list maker. But, the merchant utility isn't there =( Would really like it, as it's quite handy.

Ok, since this file no longer seems to be in existance, can someone recomend something else that will fix those absolute paths for me? Thanks, Detniat

I can send you merchutil_12365.zip if you want it . I will pm you a link .
The readme.txt with it says its ok to give it to another person, just no cd's or websites

Ok, as long as the readme states it's ok, I don't see a problem with this. Thank you very much =)

As for correcting the file references to relative references, I can highly recommend Hogsoft's CorrectReference Pro (Not free, but well worth the price). Not only does it fix all references (geometry, .PMD and texture map references), it will also check for and fix syntax errors in the files. It can work on single files and entire folder trees.
There's also a free version, which is less user friendly and only fixes texture references.

The merchutil program is available from the merchant guidelines menu option at renderotica.
