Do you, Folks, know where I could get a no shader python script for I'm a bit tired of all these "oily", "shiny" beauties and if some artists provide both shader and no shader files many don't ! Thanks for helping

Face Off's your man for this one. Have a look in the Marketplace. I think the V4 system is only available through DAZ.

Huh?

Didn't  gaius ask for "No SHADER"?

Face_off is the maker of the most famous shader system. Gaius wants NO shader. I assume just a color map is desired, without any shine at all.

Why, is not clear, because real humans are shiny, just not like plastic. Blinn is your friend.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Thanks to both of you cspear and bagginsbill : I guess the "V4 skin realism kit" is the right product. I read it helps you to control "oiliness" as well as bump map, etc. If I get it for Xmas I'll tell you more. I was meaning that some characters are by far too shiny and if some artists provide both shader and no shader mats ( I'm thinking of Subgraphix for instance ) many don't ; the result of this is unrealistic oily characters. I know blinn is the answer but it's a lot of work...and a lazy guy like me was dreaming of an easier way to reduce or get rid of oiliness...
Again many thanks. Merry Xmas + a very prosperous New Year
