Attached Link: Carmontelle's Transparent Drawings Are a Precursor to Modern Cinema - New York Times
Greetings,This NYTimes article is (and is about) a look into the past -- it begins,
rich and idle in 18th-century France. So how did the aristocrats while
away their leisure time on dreary winter days?
The article goes on to explain the drawings, how they were employed,
and what they portrayed.
Very interesting ... comments please.
