I have been using P7 for ages with no problems all of a sudden whenever I open Poser It seems to take ages to load I get a blank white screen the interface finally loads. I load up a character perhaps go into pose to add a material and bang Poser is just gone, no error message it just diasappears off my screen. I have tried several times and the same thing happens every time, I even tried rolling back my pc but it made no difference. Does anyone have any idea what is happening?? I would liketo avoid a reinstall if possbible I am waiting to have my download for Poser SE7 reset, as my external hard drive failed a while ago and I had the application back-up on it.

Have you installed all the service releases? That has helped many. If you have, then I am sorry, I don't know what else to suggest.

this might sounds strange .. BUT !
Can you check if your CPU cooler and the in and out of your power suplie is free of DUST !!
Poser usses a lot of starting power of your PC ..
And a dusty power unit and or Cpu cooler can slowdown a system until it cracks ...

I second bar-code's suggestion ! I had it happen once before to me during my Poser 6 days.
I finally got the blue-screen of death once, which made me call in the computer tech, and he told me it was a broken fan inside my cpu !
