Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, so bare with me.
I've recently purchased Teo from the Renderosity marketplace, and i'm having some problems regarding his Poses. I don't know if this is all of them, but some of them cause the program to crash whilst loading them.
For example, pose !!!002 will crash when the pose has reached 41%. Oddly enough, the pose is applied just fine, but the program freezes instantly with the loading box stuck at 41%. This also happens to pose !!!008. I don't know how many this error appears for.
The "Upper-Lower" morphs seem to work, though some of them also suffer the same error, also causing DS to crash.
Has anyone else using Teo with DS come across this problem? Does anyone know what the problem could be and how it could be solved?

It may be an address problem in the pz2 file
Contact Nursoda and see if it was tested in
Daz. You may have to edit the pz2 file and
make sure everything is pointing to the proper directorys.
I do not have this one so I cannot check it.
I do like it though mybe I will get it.

Are you applying the pose to the first Victoria 4 loaded into the scene, assuming this is a V4 character, or to a second figure? If it's a second figure then it's because the pose includes settings for the magnets, and the ones attached to a second V4 have (2) added to their names which causes confusion. I have a script that you can run to remove the extra parts of the name, before applying any poses.SenshiTaurus posted Sun, 06 January 2008 at 11:48 AM
Teo is an original character. Just search for him.
And I think i've discovered the problem. The problem poses contain a similarity.
Instead of pointing towards the 'actors' such as "actor hip:1", they point towards parts such as "controlProp GoalCenterOfMass:1" and 'refractors'. They also include references towards things like the hat and a 'flower', and even Magnet Deformers. 'Actor' references are still in there towards the middle, hence why the figure successfully updates with the new pose before DS crashes.
I think the fact that these poses are trying to effect more than just the base figure may be the problem.
I'll contact the creator about this.

Could well be, but try running my script (the issue with V4 is from the magnets, and you say Teo has magnets).

OK I got Teo
The problem is that the pose file has a line
refFigure JamesG2
you will need poser JamesG2 content on your drive.
I have James but not JamesG2
I will look for it. Not sure were, I have versions 2 to 7

hi
im sorry of those problems with the poses in DAZ :O(
i had made the Posefiles with Poser7 and that was no good idea i think - Poser7 put informations into the files about james and so on - sorry i dont know why Po7 do something like that
i had test the Teo poses with DAZ|S 1.7 on my PC and there is no Problem with the Poses - but ok there is a G2James in my Runtime - Teo has nothing to do with JamesG2 so i dont know why Poser makes so curious actions - how ever
i create some new PoseFiles with Poser5 and now there is no G2Information into the pz2 - i hope it will work in DAZ now
would you please test it ?
http://www.klopfholz.de/nursoda/teodazposetest.zip
there are 4 Poses into the Folder - if it works i will create new PoseFiles for all Poses
thanks a lot

I suspect the reference to James may be related to the universal pose system, where poses are meant to be adaptable for use on any figure.

http://www.klopfholz.de/nursoda/site/updates/teoposesow.zip
(ZipFile includes: Runtime / libraries / pose / Teo / "the optimized fullbodyposes" and "upper_lower-Folder with optimized Posefiles")
please overwrite the old TeoPosefiles
i hope it works

Yes, they work absolutly fine now! =3
The Universal Pose feature causes more harm than good. I remember when I made my AniME package. I made the poses using BelBel, and due to a problem with UP they didn't work correctly with other A3 figures, despite them having the same joint setup.
If you go to the preferences in Poser 7, you can turn UP off.
Thank you for the fix Nursoda! :3
