I'd like to suggest that new section/sections be added to the gallery. In my opinion,  I don't think that an image that is just a pure render from a "3D program/s" ( Poser, Bryce, Lightwave...etc) be posted in the same gallery as an image that has been post-worked with a "2D paint-program/s"  (Adobe Photo-Shop,  Paint Shop Pro...etc ) The new gallery section name should reflect the fact that the image was created in more than one type of program. Of course changing formats, resizing,  and signing probably shouldn't count as post-work.

Isn't there aleady a mixed medium gallery?

IMO 3D programmes are merely a tool and I never regard them as being capable of creating the final, INDIVIDUAL, image that I want.   Postwork is what makes an image unique and it irks me when people slate it.

As far as I am aware, the 3D tool that an image is RENDERED in denotes the gallery to upload to and I shall continue to do so.

Yes we have a mixed medium gallery on the list and it is fine as long as the gallery mods allow it. I to upload to the gallery I render in.

I appologize for being uninformed and if I hurt anyone's sensibilities, just seems that if a mixed medium gallery already exists people should use it correctly. Otherwise what's the point of having categories to begin with?
I only post to the Poser gallery and never use postwork, and yet I and other consider my images unique too.
However, as Sandy wrote, as long as the gallery mods allow it, I bow to them.
