I just can't seem to load my saved chars back into daz. I have tried saving them in every form, but I get the same message everytime:
"This action requires an item within the seen to be selected."
I did not use a seen this time when I created the model in hopes this would help butalas it did not.
What format should I save the models as to be able to reopen them?
If anyone can help with this it would be fantastic!
Thank You In Advance.

If you have an object..(model..etc) in your viewport..its considered a scene even tho you have no other items with it.  I think the program is telling you to select the character you are trying to save...so it will know what to save.  If you don't select it the program doesn't see it....You are in charge and you have to tell it what to do...if you do something wrong sometimes the program tells you how to correct it.  In this case try selecting your character even tho there is nothing else there..and then save it.

That message means you've saved a preset, so you need to have the character selected for it to modify. If you want to save an assemebled character (with injected morphs, hair and clothes and so on) then you should save it as a scene, not a preset.
