I hope somebody can help me.. Im a fairly new user to Daz and know how to do the basic within the program. What I want to be able to do is make clothes and costumes for use in Daz using the templates and making the texture image.
How do I get Daz to recognize it as an availble costume color or design option? Maybe I'm using the wrong terminology, maybe it's a MAT file I need to make to use the new costume.
Now reading through this again I seemed to have confused myself.. LOL Basically, I want to be able to create new clothes / costumes to fit my characters. Then know how to save them to use again..
So if anybody knows of any tutorials that can help me on my way, I'd truly appreciate your help. hugs
Kelly..

If you want to apply new texture sets you've made, you load them onto the clothes in the Surfaces palette and then save a material preset from the Save as menu, under File or the + icon at the bottom of the Content palette when viewing a D|S content folder.
If you want to model new clothes, you can't yet do that without Poser - we are still waiting on the rigging tools that will allow you to turn a single solid mesh into a posable figure..
