Peleng. I've read lots of praise about it. I think it's german glass in a russian shell.

Question the question. Answer the question. Question the answer...

I wish I knew what I was gonna say :oP

The canon and sigma 15mm f/2.8 fisheyes have good reviews as well...

Hmm the other one in this price range is the Zenitar but it would seem the Peleng is hard to beat for the money which counts out any of the Canon range or Sigma etc.. Lens flare will be something you need to check, and may vary from batch to batch.. Pot luck.. Good luck

Yeah - i looked into this a while back (budget fish)... and the peleng came up trumps... you need to get an adapter tho - it is an old m42 mount as far as i remember. But i think if you buy them from eBay the retailers on there ask you which adapter you want, just tell them Canon and you should be ok - included in the price for many... but remember to check before you buy.

a problem that you might find with Peleng is some guy found a (human) hair between elements in his. (p.s. my sig applies here)

Whatever you choose, use it wisely!...not an everyday lens!
