The instructions in the P7 manual don't seem to help at all. When I try to select content for a "download library," little if any of it actually loads. Can anyone provide a clear explanation of how to add my libraries from P4, P5, and P6 without simply overloading my system?

Are these runtimes which already exist on your machine? In that case it's not too hard.
Double-click on the upper folder of your librabies until you reach the top. Should have two folders showing, Poser 7 and Downloads. Most people don't use Downloads at all. Click on the plus (+) sign at the bottom.
Browse to the version you want to add, and open the Runtimes folder. Click on "Open" in the dialog, and you should now have a third folder, named Poser 4, 5 or 6. Repeat for others you want to add. Does that help?

Well, I did get most of my libraries reinstalled, but I had to drag directories into my Poser 7 directory. Each time I tried to specify a new Runtime location using the official Poser method, the Library label would show, but no files got imported.
My next job will be to try to reduce some of the incredible redundance in my files.
Does anyone else hate Poser's nonstandard user interface as much as I do? Apparently even the creators of material for use in Poser each have a different way of setting up their files.
Thanks for your help, BeyondVR. It didn't work for me, but it convinced me that I needed to do it the hard way!
