Hello

Not sure if anyone can help, but there was an amazing bryce artist that was featured in a very old copy of computer arts magazine.

I think he was german.

He used to use fractals as objects and imported them in bryce and made some very amazing surreal/abstract images.

I think his first name was either ken or kevin.

anyone know where I can find his gallerys?

thanks

spidergod

Was it Rohi by any chance?

actually it might have been before 2000, but computer arts back issues only go upto the year 2000.

I know it was near one of the issues with the red octopus on the front cover.

damn i wish I had kept the old issues now.

will keep on looking

spidergod posted Thu, 24 January 2008 at 4:59 AM

wow have just seen Rohi's work

that is outstanding stuff.

will also check out pmoores art as well

spidergod posted Thu, 24 January 2008 at 5:03 AM

wow pmoores stuff is amazing as well.

does anyone know if pmoores is still active?, as I notice the last upload was in 2006.

would love to find out where he managed to get those crazy organic shapes.

thanks for showing me 2 great gallerys that I may have missed.

now my brain is all fired up for more art creation.

Neither the nationality nor the name fits here, but Redinard made some seriously good looking abstracts with Bryce.

I have an artbook by a german brycer from that timeframe. qwill check the name when i get home tonight.

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!

spidergod posted Thu, 24 January 2008 at 11:16 AM

actually i think the person did have an artbook out.

I also was in touch with him via letters (yeah email was a brand new concept back then:)

damn I wish I had kept all the correspondence, as he was quite helpful in my artwork style back then.

I will also check to see if i have my old editions of computer arts.

thanks all

thanks for all the help.

I just found the book! It was Jurgen Ziewe's as noted by artmac- (Recently moved and they were still boxed) apologies for taking so long.

thats cool.

yeah jurgen was one of my main inspirations (as well as william latham) back when I first started my artwork.

Was in correspondence with him via letters as well (shows how long it was).

thanks everyone
