This not a massive problem but frustrating anyway.
Does anyone know how to make a pivot point that is set in Hexagon, translate/save across when saving to either a .car or .obj file?
On a model I am working on, I have set many of the pivot points of various objects to different positions in Hexagon (nice and easy to do in Hex I might add), but in the exported file (when opened in Carrara) the pivot point has then been reset back to either the objects centre or somewhere else entirely!
Anyone else had this?
Any help or sugestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ulven

Hi Ulven, No, the pivot doesn't translate to the .car or .obj format. The pivot points are strictly for modeling convenience in Hexagon. Since Hex does not support animation, the point data isn't translated. They are easy enough to reset in Carrara. But, I guess you know to spend the "point setting" time in Carrara instead of Hexagon. :-P Mark

Thanks Mark.
I just hope that the Daz people make a "point" of "setting" time aside to develop Hexagon! I'd be lost without it!
OK, enough puns now :)
Thanks again,
Ulven.
