Subject: Mac content install -- to where?

When installing older content (which isn't aware of Daz Studio) I can't seem to get it in the right place to be "seen" by DS. Where should it go? I'm on a Mac . . . and these are standard Daz items like V3 . . . I install to what I think is the Daz Studio content directory, run Daz, and its not there.

Hey, I might not be so stupid after all! I've just started a thread on this exact same topic: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2728213 Could give some of that a go and let me know if it works for you. Regards

have you done a search for new poser files? go to Edit/Preferences/Directories... click the bar that says Daz Studio content directories and change it to poser content. then run a search. usually works for me Smiley hugs!

thanks all.

Its definitely not a clean solution. . . Daz Studio works fine on my PC, its a Mac specific thing. The way I've found that sort of works is to do a search for the content whcih does show up in the initial install (the Faery scene), and then to manually install content to that directory.
