I work in Bryce 6 on a Mac Pro. I know how to make outlined images, (think a label on a wine bottle), in Carrara. And I think I remember that it can be done in Bryce, but I'm drawing a blank. Something to do with the materials editor I bet.

Hi!,this tut uses the same method you need.A whole building facade or a simple square,the principle is the same!.The second image in the picture editor acts as a mask...good luck!

Here is an old post that sort of explains how to blend two DTE or two image textures using the C channel as a mask.
