I found a mirror site a week or so ago and downloaded the casablance stuff. I lost the URL when I caught a virus and reformatted my drive.

It's not a mirror site, but

redistributes ISO's stuff with his permission.

To my knowledge, he hadn't done anything new recently, which was a pity. ISO's stuff was some of the first really high quality freebies I found when I started with Poser back in the last millennium. :) For what it's worth, the Jatex page is still functioning, but for how long I don't know since it's hosted on the ISOP server. There's also a page with some of his older Vicki 1/2 clothes.

Wow! If you click on "Project" there, you can actually access the links to the items.  Didn't know Wayback Machine archived the downloads.

yes Iso makes some awesome Poser stuff, we are very fortunate he is generous enough to give them to the community ^ ^

drifterlee posted Wed, 30 January 2008 at 6:54 PM

Thanks for the link to that site, kana. Almost all the Casablanca stuff is still on that site plust texture links. Where is the old V1-V2 stuff?

drifterlee posted Wed, 30 January 2008 at 7:07 PM

used the wayback machine and got lots of goodies! Would have loved the duffle set for Mijou but it did not archive that one. Anyone have the URL for Yamoto's site? Thanks

Wayback mostly stores text, but not images and downloads. If those things are still on the server, it may pick it up. bB

Very true DPH! My mistake.

Most of those archived downloads do not unzip, so I am out of luck. The other site works for the Casablanca suit. Grab what you can and save it!

Try a different program for unzipping them. WinRar didn't want to unzip the CasaBlancaNY textures on my machine but Windows XP's built in ZIP software allowed me to browse the zip and unzip the runtime that way.

drifterlee posted Fri, 01 February 2008 at 4:53 PM

Thanks, I used the open with compressed folder and they unzipped!!!!!!!!! I never would have thought of that, because Winrar usually opens everything.

It never hurts to try alternatives when they exist. Not all zippers are created equally.

StevieG1965 posted Sat, 02 February 2008 at 12:49 PM

Well, since everyone has some good link ideas...has anyone found an alternative to Viva La Fiesta!'s stuff for the ISOP suit?  They had such awesome textures for the shirts.  The old website shows up on the Wayback search, but, none of the downloads are available.

And sad to say, they left no contact link.  What a loss for the ISOP suit. :crying:

Or, better yet, does anyone that has it know if they can share it with others that didn't get a chance to download it?

Acadia posted Sat, 02 February 2008 at 2:09 PM

Here are some textures for the Casablanca shirt.

http://jezz.jeez.jp/page/jezz_dl.html

Lovely Lady also had some textures for the suit/shirts.  Her contact here is   http://www.renderosity.com/homepage.php?page=5&userid=25042

All of the readmes indicate that no distribution is allowed.

StevieG1965 posted Sat, 02 February 2008 at 7:42 PM

Thanks for the link, Acadia, I have all the textures except Viva La Fiesta.  I don't know how I missed it the first time I downloaded the suit.  Their texture set has a simply fab snake skin shirt that I'm drooling over.  Atlantistyle used it in his promo of Andre and I just feel in envy of it.

Ah well, win some lose some.  I wish I knew how to texture stuff, I'd make my own.

Acadia posted Sat, 02 February 2008 at 8:02 PM

Seisui has some shirt textures too.

http://www.rose.ne.jp/~seisui/gallery/3dcg_image/character/character.html

I'm looking through my ISOP folder and I'm pretty sure that I had downloaded all of the free textures for the Casablanca suit and shirt, but I don't seem to see anything by "Viva La Fiesta".  Do you know who the creator was, or what the website link was? That might help me.

Ahhh Haaa!! Found it.

I looked in the readme, but it doesn't address redistribution, which means "no".

But I did find the website and it's also closed:   http://lafiesta.sakura.ne.jp/

There ia an email address in the readme file. Perhaps you can write to Rose and ask if you can acquire the shirt textures.

My gosh! I'm the same way. Are we insane? I don't know about you, but I buy my clothes at the resale shop so I can by the latest Poser stuff. Good thing I made a shrink appointment, LOL!

Hi,
Acadia, you should not write e-mail address here.
There are scripts to get e-mail address fo SPAMs.

I will ask rose and jezz about downloads and post here when I get respons.
And as I remember,  re-distribution is not accepted.

Thanks for that suggestion. That explains a great deal because I've seen emails written like that and I didn't know why.

I'll do that in the future.  I'll ask a mod to delete my earlier post with the email. I don't want to cause someone to get spammed.

EDIT: I sent a PM to a mod asking fot the email address to be edited out.

I've received following information from rose.

Rose re-distribute ISO's Casablanca Suit and Openfullshirt under permission of ISO.
(Click "download" on top page.)
http://rosy-poison.sakura.ne.jp/poser/index.html

You can download textures for Casablanca suit from jezz's site.
http://jezz.jeez.jp/index.html

And you can also get Openfullshirt for Hiro and it's textures from seisui's site.

Perfect! Thank you :)  That is the one that was being asked about.

I'm still waiting for a mod to delete that email from my earlier post. I'll send the request again. I feel badly for having posted it :(

OH...MY...GOD!!!  The snake skin shirts are mine (actually, they're Michael's)  Thank you so much for all your help, Tetsu!  Thank you Acadia, I know you feel bad about the email thing, but, you were a great help as well.

A huge hug to you both...and though they probably won't see this, a huge hug to Rose and ISO for putting their incredible items back up for us to enjoy.
