hi all
We're using poser 7 on a G5 iMac and it runs really slowly. We're thinking of upgrading to a new duel core intel aluminium iMac (porabably 24") has any one used poser on a new iMac and does it run ok? Failing that its save up for a Mac Pro quad core - may take some time though. Has anyone had experience of using poser on a Mac Pro?
Thanks in advance

Hi PJ
I use Poser 6 (not 7, yet) on my iMac G5, which is NOT a Intel Dual Core and i have no problem at all. What about RAM capacity on you iMac?. Poser can take a lot of RAM and this makes it very slow, you'll need at least 1.5 o 2 MB of RAM
But as far as i know one of the best features Poser 7 has is that works great specially on new Intel iMacs... i've seen some threads here about it and no complain
I will get a new Intel iMac and Poser 7 in the next few weeks, I hope it works ok too.

P7 is NOT optimized for older computers and runs like garbage. It only seems to run well on an Intel machine. It works well there.

I use a Dual Single core Liquid cooled G5. 2.5mhz w/2.5gig of RAM. 10.4.11. The only problem I have is with large multiple figure scenes.
