For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, it's winter time.  Where I live...it's pretty darned cold outside...(Ok it's REALLY COLD !!)

So for the next Forum Challenge, let's  see how creative we can be with what is "around the house"

Ok here goes, this is my china cabinet where I keep cobalt blue glasses and crystal. The creative part (I thought) was taking the shot from beneath the glass shelf. Turns out the REALLY creative part was folding myself into a position to get the shot, (by the way my neck aches now I think I may have spindled and mutilated too)

Anyway, for what it's worth, this is the result    : )

They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

So where do they go when a photograph leaves you speechless?

Ok Going to give this a try-this is the first time I've entered challenge of the month. :)
Breakfast- Aussie Style, from a different perspective.

This is the first quilt I ever made.  It hangs in the hallway at my house.  All the embroidery was done by my great-grandmother.  She made pillowcases for everyone in the family, and I made the quilt out of old ones that had worn out.   This is the sort of thing I did before I became obsessed with photography!

I am trying to shoot something like an "advert" for Amouage (a challenge over on another site) a "luxury" perfume my mum has from Oman - it was commissioned by the sultan.  It is sat on frankincense from Dhofar and that is a gold bracelet from Oman to put the thing in context i suppose... Frankincesnse was bought and is used about the house every so often in traditional burners (hrm - i see another pic opportunity in that one) the other two were gifts from my dad's previous employer over there.

Nice perspective on the cereal bowl Ra3vyn:) and that lighting is nicely controlled on the cars flannelman... and yes - kort that head freaks me out a bit- i am slightly reminded of the statue head from Night at the Museum -" Dum-Dum give me Gum-Gum!"

Taken just outside my front door, this vine literally is "around the house." Funny, before ever even seeing a passion vine, I used to doodle swirls and shapes like this in art school.

well this was around the house earlier .its a quiche i made for june with a difference no pastry as she is still on her slimmers world diet .i suppose you could say its more creative in the cooking rather than the photography :o)

I was looking through my cupboards for something around the house AND LOOK WHAT I FOUND! Im in the same cold weather as pushinfaders so I know how boring it gets being stuck in the house. This is an awesome idea for the challenge!
