Hi all,
I have to create a Voronoi model, tryed some consructions, but hell it's extreme time consuming and kinda seems not the right way. Somebody here has expirience or ideas how to do it?

It might help those not familier with your subject to explain what it is? I've never heard of a 'Voronoi'...........;-)

You could try using one of Bryce's Voronoi noise functions as a height map for a terrain.
Terrain Editor -> Shift-Click on 'Pictures'
Shift-Click let's you access the DTE from the terrain editor.
This would only work for a diagram style model.

It's too early in the morning for me. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around getting the percent of error in chaining a bunch of flat terrains into a circle figuring the total length as oppsed to the length of a true circle of the same circumferance.
simple ? ?

i meant a simple pattern example, not that it's simple at all...I've honestly forgotten the AG from the University time..shame on me..
...been there already ,most of the links doesn't work, the other are useless.
I need a dimensional structure,not a plane,that's the problem.

*O K...now I'm intrigued...how would one access this in the DTE my friend...does it have a name or something..I still find the DTE a wee bit confusing.. ,,,

These are the things that make Bryce such a great program. I have,nt been in the DTE for ages except to modify the odd texture or 2. I don't think new-comers to Bryce realise what a powerful tool they have, and free or very cheap as well.

I love the DTE - if you don't know what you're doing in there - it's still possible to have fun just playing with the "randomise" buttons, but if you want to know more you might try Robin Wood's Tutorials on Bryce.Click on "Intermediate Bryce Course" in the menu on the left, and scroll down to "Lesson 3: Demystifying the DTE"
I loved that one.

You didn't say you had 3ds max at your disposal.
Try this:
Displace (modifier) a plane of sufficient number of length and width segments. Use a 'Cellular' map in the Map slot of the displacement. If you need to, you can copy the map (or drag it) into a 'dumby material' (one that isn't being used for any objects) map slot, so that you can adjust the cellular noise parameters.
After you displace the plane, leave the modifier stack uncollapsed; and add a lattice modifier to the top of the stack: 'struts only'; 'ignore hidden edges' and 'end caps' checked. Adjust strut radius as needed.
Is that anything like what you need?
EDIT- if it still seems too regular, put a noise modifier before the displacement, or use another seperate displacement modifier. That will jiggle the vertices around so the the lines aren't perfect squares when viewed from straight above or below.
