Before anyone says Cinema4D or Poser 7 etc. What I am saying here is what is needed and I mean it!

We need a software package that allows an artist to select from a huge library of prearranged bone sets and whatever else is needed to make a 3D character and then sit back and watch the computer do the work of putting it together for us as we ask it to make modifications and changes until it LOOKS right and behaves right and the computer makes adjustments automatically to ensure that it will function correctly in a 3D Host program.

By now we should be able to get the computer to put a 3D item together without our needing to understand complex programming instruction sets or have a Masters Degree in maths and 200,000 hours of time available. In this day and age we should be able to have software packages that do the work for making a 3D character out of a vast library of sets and parts and then watch the prototype being built and previewed. The computer keeps asking us if we want more changes or additions, even working on a specific part of the design and it makes the changes/additions until it looks right to us, and then we press the "Make" button and your 3D creation is built and assembled as a package ready to be used with a 3D host program.

I'm just dreaming folks, wouldn't it be nice or is this around the corner?

Beam me up Scotty.....
