Hi all
I just bought a new HP cpu with Vista pre-installed and when I try to install Poser 5 or 6 it keeps saying that the program needs elevation. What does that mean and how can I fix it. The cpu has an AMD Athlon 64 x 2 dual core processor, 3GB memory, 640 GB HD and a Nvida GEforce 6150 se graphics card.
Thanks for any help on this.

I googled "vista elevation error" and this was in the first hit:
I had this problem and to get around it had to go to Control Panel>User Accounts.
Click on the "Turn User Account Control on or off" and turn off UAC.
Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

Its the autorun feature not allowing administrative permission, just bypass the autorun, and install directly from the .exe.
