Good day to all,
Ive been wondering if theres a way to import or something files inside a folder to a single multilayer file in photoshop.
I mean a file in photoshop in wich each layer is a file form the folder selected.
Thanx in advance if anyone can give me any help about this.

Are you asking if there's an automated way to do this? I usually just open all the files and drag each image as a layer onto a single file.

Hi, yeah, i would want to know if theres an automated way to this because i usually drag each file, but now i have to work with groups up to 100 files and need to do this a little faster :D

I know you can do the opposite thing in ImageReady - where you take all the layers in a file and export them each as individual image files. I would look at ImageReady to do that. Or if you are using CS3, you might be able to use Light Room to do that, but I haven't messed with that software yet.

EDIT: Sorry the first part of my post didn’t make it…..
The above script is for Photoshop CS.
If you are using PS CS3 or CS2 (I think CS2 has it) you already have a built in script that does the same thing.
Just go to File>Scripts>Load Files into Stack.
The AV script is still worth while if you already have multiple documents already open, and want to put each on a separate layer in just one document.
