Sorry if you feel I'm clogging up this forum , Delete or do as you wish.
Just asking if any of our UK posters experienced a pretty severe rumbling around
01:07 a.m.
Reports would be appreciated , I know the Midland's were affected around a 50 Mile Radius , Not everyday your chair moves a couple inches & your drink is spilt due to the forces of Nature.
Long story short ,
I am proud to have experienced :D
Tc All
Peace!

We felt it pretty good here in Selby, North Yorks. The was a loud rumble and the whole house shook violently for several seconds and then the power went off for about an hour or so. Amazingly my wife slept right through it!!

Hi,
We live in Lower Darwen just outside Blackburn and at just after 1.00am I was woken from a very deep sleep to a noise,no not the wife.
Initially it was the wife's dressing table upon which sits the usual assortment of mystical feminine creams and lotions sprays and potions which were all rattling like the sound of an early morning milk float. Then the house shook very slightly and the roof tiles rattled.I guessed it must have been and earth tremor but never heard one before so lay awake wondering what the hell was going on.Then that was it,back to sleep.

Yes I felt the tremor here in Wiltshire !! A long way from the epicentre.. I was sitting on the loo.. Dont laugh but maybe via the floor connection it made it more obvious...
