Well, work kept me busy all week, and I had no free time. I hate when that happens. But here we go, the next WoE. This is a small crop at 100%.

Yes, tho not directly around the eye. Care to guess as to what type of bird?

LOL! That is a tough one. I'm not good with birds... I'm picturing something big like an eagle or a hawk but that blue streak doesn't fit in really... perhaps someone else?  :-D

Since you did guess correctly, that it was a bird, you are the winner and can do the next WoE. The bird is actually a parakeet (or "budgie" as they're sometimes called). We hung some old blankets up and let him fly around a bit and I snapped some pictures. Attached is the entire picture. I obviously need alot more practice on this WoE thing :)

Could it be a Budgerigar (Melopsittacus undulatus)...?

Edit: Oops, our comments crossed... yes, I see it's a budgie.. ;o)

Ah hah! The pattern around the eye fooled me. Guys, I don't have macro lenses yet and macro seems the best way to pull this off, I vote for girsempa to start the next thread. Will love to participate but not really to win yet. :-)

Looks like a camera  battery charger points. Maybe from you E-500?
