Had a lot of trouble getting the file size right by trial and error, can you remind me of the rules?
TwoPynts posted Tue, 04 March 2008 at 3:10 PM
The file size is 200KB for all images uploaded in the Forum. Cool postwork. ;']

Like Kort said, file size is 200KB MAX. I've filed a complaint about (stating) this in the suggestions forum though they haven't done anything about it yet... ------ Great work everyone. I'll try my hand at the DITI later..
Question the question. Answer the question. Question the
answer...
I wish I knew what I was gonna say :oP

:m_bouncy: A workaround for this is to host the image somewhere else like imageshack or photobucket and then just insert the HTML code they give you to show your photo, but the potential problem with that is if you make it over 700 pixels wide, it messes up the framing of the thread. I believe the 200KB limit was intended to save on bandwidth, load times and server space. These might not be as big of an issue as they were in the past, but some people still have slow connections and picture heavy threads can take ages to load, even with a 200KB max size.

Cool spaceyness Lew, I like it! Is that all your own photography? I didn't realize we had an astronaut in our midst. Or perhaps an alien is more correct? ;'P Just a little reminder to MrsRatbag that she starts a new DITI this coming Monday, thanks!

Ya know - taken from my favorite vacation spot - great view and all.
Earth and space shots from the CD of free stock images that comes with any one of the various 3D (3D World, HDRI 3D, etc.), Design (DIGIT, Layers, PhotoshopUser, etc.), Illustration (ImagineFX), and Photography (God, where do I begin...?!) mags I get every month. They're royalty-free images to play as you will - and even use in commercial assignments, though I have yet to do that. So far it's just been for my personal fun.
Needless to say, my wife would like me to "lighten the load" that piles up on my dresser and end tables... And yes, she calls me "high maintenance" and "expensive" - ya think?

Sure thing. My wife's biggest complaint about me is all of my "stuff". I know where everything is -- I can't help it if my filing system looks like a pile of junk to others. She keeps begging me to declutter... I guess it is a guy thing. Some guys anyway.
