Subject: Finally got my monitor

After taking longer than i thought to find a monitor i liked and one suited to my needs i finally picked up a Samsung 22" for $390AUD today.

Follow link to see what i got.....oooh its big(my wifes words not mine)

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

well from the one i looked at in the shop they seemed fine..not bothered about them much since i wont be watching dvd's with it

Now I fell inadequate, I have the same monitor in the 20" size, doesn't matter how big your toys are someone else alsways has a bigger one....

Gog i tried for ages to get the samsung 206bw but the cheapest one i could get even on line was $441AUD...when i spotted the 2232bw in a local store for  $390AUD i grabbed it...don't you love stock taking times 😄

46inches fullHD here baby B-) who beats my toy? :-P muahahaha

btw, from the specs it sounds like a good sceen for the money :-)
how do dvds relate to viewing angles btw?

Well from what i have read and been told, viewing angle comes into it with watching dvds if you are sat on a side view to the onitor not right infront of it...bit technical for me

Ok all after a week of frustration with the samsung Syncmaster 2232BW i ended up taking it back and getting the Syncmaster 226BW. I am happy with this one, the 2232bw had way to much back light bleed through which was very noticable on dark images...made it hard to get lighting right in a scene..

Glad you were able to acid test it and return it.

Good example of why you should be able to experiment with different apps while still in the store.

Salesperson: "Excuse me sir, are you finished yet? We need to close."
