By the way - I instantly knew who it was. Nice job on the likeness.

Same here. Knew who he was right away.I LOVED his Elephant Parts!
I still occasionally suffer from Beegee's disease, as I'm reciting the pirate alphabet. ;)
(And I still have it on videotape somewhere.. I'd love to see it released some day on DVD.)

You need one of these Daz dark stocking caps. (Maybe without the snake thing on it.)

You guys warm my heart!!! By the way Elephant Parts is available on DVD at www.videoranch.com, Michael's commercial web page. His commentary is priceless. I will look into the hat by the way!
Thank you every one. I'm on to work on Micky next. :)

By the way ... there is no post work on the image at all. So it's a little rough, but I wanted it to be pure Poser.

I had such a huge crush on Micky Dolenz and Davey Jones!

Nice work Boni, you can see the likeness.
Oh man, the Monkees! Loved to watch the program as a kid. God I feel old now.

I loved the Monkees!!!
It's interesting. The current picture that you posted shows Mike has gotton better looking as he ages. But the "cute" Monkees (Davey and Mickey) didn't end up looking so hot.

Too me the image looked like a very young Tommy Lee Jones. This is the oldest image I could google on him.

Wow, didn't know this would get this kind of response thanks guys.
OT: Monkee trivia ~ Well, we all age. David has had some surgery (He fell into the orchestra pit at a concert in the late eighties and had to have facial reconstructive surgery ... ironic really "Million dollar head, this." - Davy from "Head". Micky ... I think he's still cute, just saw him last September singing with his sister in Tacoma, WA. (There's a photo I took in my gallery).
Oddly this model (Michael Nesmith) I've been trying to make for the past 9 years, since I first got Poser 3. Started with all the morphs that Traveler made for Dork. I'm a hard-core fan, as you can tell. I'll put Micky up next in this thread when I'm finished with him. Just have to find the right photo reference. Then I'll put up Peter and Davy. It'll probably take a couple of weeks to tweak it enough. Thanks for all the positive feed-back. I really appreciate it.
I do see the resemblance to Tommy Lee Jones (Just watched Lonesome Dove) that's really interesting. I think he might look like TLJ from Coal Miner's Daughter.
Back to the drawing board for the next project. :)

My favorite Monkees episode was one where, as usual, the plot ran short, but instead of just playing "Stepping Stone" or "Last Train from Georgia" to fill the last couple of minutes, Nesmith had Frank Zappa on as a guest star. Zappa (pretending to be Nesmith) interviewed Nesmith (pretending to be Zappa).
