I know this is the poser forum.  I'll get more responses here =D

Anyone know of any photoshop (cs2) tutorials for any of the following

cuts on skin
welts on skin
bruises on skin
injuries on skin
making young skin look old

making things appear:
dirty
aged
wilted
ruined
(you get the jist)

The things in the first list are the most important if anyone knows where any specific tutorials for those things might be located.  My google-fu is bad :/

Thank you for the replies.
I had completely spaced that I started this thread : /

I can never figure out how to navigate deviant art to find things I want
the other imaginefx, I didn't see any tutorials there.

from the main screen, find a drop down menu that contains the word 'resources' (I'm at work, and don't dare go to DA from here...;) menus pop out to the right (at least mine do) and look for a combination that gets you brushes, filters, etc for Photoshop (for Gimp too, if anyone wants them..;) I've seen a lot of 'em.

Also, do a Google search on "Photoshop filters" and "whateveryourversionis" (I don't know, but there's almost as many Photoshop filters and things as there are font sites...;) you could fill your hard drive, no matter what the size

I think some of the standard filters will do some of these effects. Good luck.

Hey jj, I've only just noticed your sig.
And here's me thinking you were sweet & innocent! 😉

lol Stormchaser never that!

Thanks again for the replies.

I am pretty familiar with the program now.  I have some techniques on how to do these things now but was looking for others.  I've been scouring the internet for about a week now for tutorials on these particular things and especially for the wounds there seems to be nothing.  Just the one tutorial from the first reply.

I'll check out the imaginefx site again, thank you for the tip about where the info is located there.
