All parts were sperate except for Pos/Neg groups. I selected all and grouped everything together and selected the 'C' convert button. Then I exported. All I got was a small part of the complete object as .3DS.........
What have I forgotten?

Every single object and also every single group must be positive or negative, for the export.
Example:
cube one positive----cube two negative----grouped the new object is neutral---set it to pos. or neg. then it should work.
If you forgot to set one or some groups...objects to pos. or neg. it will not be exported just the others.

So all cubes could be positive then......?
Thanks. :-)

Yes they all could be positive, just not neutral.:-)

Ok, heres what i'm getting. There are 6 (pos/neg) boolean groups. I convert all seperatly.
I then select all the other single elements, make them positive and group them. The I convert that group.
After I have export and check the model, it only contains the 6 (pos/neg) boolean groups and a small section of the other elements.
Tried this with .3DS and .OBJ, same thing happens.
Any ideas?

Strangely??? I have, tries out in order to test, what I, explained maybe incorrectly, but everything worked out with me. The objects are complete, after the import. It seems, some parts of your objects are not converted????? There, I now am helpless.
What I also realized is, the objects should not be scaled to zero on one of the sides, that eliminats them.....

Maybe I should group in sections and convert rather than leaving most of the parts as single entities.

I just had wanted to propose this. ...because I cannot recognize where the difference is, if?, between our procedures? Sorry!!!!

No need to apologise, thanks for your help.

Everytime you group, that group must also be not neutral. If there is just one thing in the model that was not changed from neutral, either a group or a mesh in a group, then it won't work properly.
I have had this happen to me and I just had to go back and ungroup and check every little thing - there always turned out to be one (or sometimes more than one) thing that was still neutral.

Thanks electroglyph, and maybe Daz should make their convert and export a little more refined.

There's a lot in B6 that I personally would like Daz to fix, like the exporting of Bryce obp's without odd holes and reversed normals and other bits wrong that I'm not sure what they are.... just for starters.
Not to even get me started on how B6 is either ignoring or reversing the effects of any .mtl file that used to be handled perfectly okay in B5.5

I should also mention if you do join or weld these objects together you loose other materials and the object becomes just a single material. You would have to map the object and paint the appropriate faces on a texture to create a Yellow, Green, Red, and Blue closed block.
Don't even get me started on how B6 mangles boolean terrain exports. There are definately a lot of things to fix on Bryce 6.
