This morning my Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L II USM Lens was delivered.  I can't wait until lunch time to start using it!

For those that don't know what I'm taking about I have included a link to the Canon site.

Have fun with it... and dont drop it.... another one and a pro body and i think that is the criteria to be on canons "pro" list membership or something... danny knows more about that as he is on it 😄

Any particular reason for splashing out? ;)

Well NightGallery.  I have just had a look at your gallery.  The photos you are taking are amazzing.  If they are with the 18-55mm kit lens.  Then I wonder what you could WOW us with, with this new lens I have!

Thanks. I am using the kit lens and also have the lower end 75-300 and the 50mm 2.5 macro. Looking to get an EF Life-size off ebay for the 50mm. But they sell quick and still a bit pricey for me for a used.

Very nice! I'll be really interested in seeing what you get with it. My 24-105 L is a great walkaround lens, but I'd like something wider.
