How can I turn the ground-shadow off in preview-mode when I am still modeling and want to set figures and props perfectly on an uneven floor, like a landscape or so? ("Drop to the ground" is mostly to deep and wrong, especially with shoes).
How can I switch that shadow off. I am not talking about the ground itself and I mean when I still adjust things, but want to see all the way to my imported floor and not that gray shadow...

In Poser 6, bottom left corner of the render window, there's this little symbol of a ball with a dark circle underneath. This turns on/off display shadows in preview mode.
P5/P7 should have something dimilar.
Or, you can also go under Display -->Ground Shadows to turn on/off as well.
