I have recently heard that there are a few free plug-ins for DazStudio - is there a thread with links to these items anywhere?
If not, could people please direct me to where such plug-ins are located in this thread?
If there are in fact any free plug ins...

There are a fair number of free scripts - there's a sticky thread with those, shaders and the plugin listed in the DAZ|Studio Freepozitory forum at DAZ.

Hmmm .... scripts..... I'm no good at coding. I wouldn't have the faintest idea what to do with such a thing.

If you've used any kind of preset you've already used a script. You don't need to know how to write them to use them, any more than you need to know how to write in C++ to use an application like D|S.

This link should help you find all the free scripts available for Daz/Studio

If it ain't free, I can't afford it.

Best free plug in hands down no question about it is www.pendragon-observatory.net/3D/projects_main.html . Pendragon's shader plug in is dreamy if you want an advanced shader system.

My favourite plugin is DeltaX15's free InjectPMD plugin: http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=72737
In fact all his sccripts and plugins are invaluable.

Oh by the way RHaseltine? The Content Collector Script isn't there, nor is the Bryce Material Fixer.

I'll edit the list in a while, then - I thought I'd seen the Bryce fix script there when I was deciding where to add a new entry the other day.
