Ok....back on my maypole image....got to the 4th child and when I go to save the file as a br6 file, it gets to 96% and then a out of memory error pops up and thats as far as I can get!
Any suggestions? How many objects can you have in bryce? I'm running 4 gigs of RAM.....
What are my options here?
Thanks for any and all help!

You say 4 D of RAM?...this is on Vista ,...or 64bit XP....none others recognse more than 3 G IIRC, I use 32bit XP and it will only recognise 3G for me is why I say this.. ...

Vista.......with 4 gig of ram expandable to 8 gig..........
btw...went to the link and read the thread. It helps me except how do you clear the undo buffer? LOL.......
What I ended up doing to rendering the way I want the scene with 3 kids, then taking those 3 out and adding the other three kids...rendering the exact same and now I'll put it together in PS........I want it done for Beltane (tomorrow) and I know I can get it done by then this way!

I continually strive find out just how many objects it would take to make Bryce curl up and Die.
It hasn't happend yet.
I've used thousands of objects in some of my scenes and only very rarely did Bryce complain.
Regular saving and good housekeeping is the answer to most problems.

The easiest way to clear the Undo buffer is to save and quit. This is the only way to clear the D|S Undo buffer when using it as a bridge to Bryce.
Another way is to create a Bryce cube and move it 16 separate times, then delete it.

The buffer has 16 undos (B6.0 or later), by doing anything with a low poly object it clears out larger objects that might be in there. This is especially true when deleting a large object - while it's no longer in the scene it's still in the Undo buffer.
Older versions of Bryce only had 1 Undo so this wasn't much of a problem.
