I have seen so many people make the statement about cleaning out the old temp files and god knows what other junk we get on our computers, doing this will help with saving scenes and also speed up the computer.
Well People i am here to introduce you to two friends of mine that i never do the house work on my computer with out.

The first one is Advanced Windows Care V2 Personal, if this little program can't clean your junk out then its time for a format, it even comes with a disk manager and a nice little maid to clean out the ram.

My next little Friend is Auslogic disk defrag, now you all may say hey but hang on i have windows defrag, well let me tell you that this little program makes windows defrag look like its a sleep. First thing i have found and like with it is it can be set for cpu usage which is great for those that have oldish computers. you can also set it to remove temp files before defrag..

Both programs are user friendly if you don't feel like messing with the settings you don't need to just install and use them. you can find both on www.download.com  or google their name to look up the sites and read up on them.  Oh these are free as well, :thumbupboth:

Another good 'house cleaning' tool is CCleaner...used to be called CrapCleaner and is a freebie from the web.  It is regulary updated and also cleans out the Google searches and empties the recycle bin.  Has some great Registry cleaning tools as well. 

And don't forget Spybot Search & Reboot; probably the best antispyware. And it's free. Please take a look and download it.

Lavasofts Ad-Aware (Free Version) is a good companion to Spybot Search and Destory.

now the Defrag that is included with Windows is a Lite version of former Executive Softwares Defrag suite.  Now Diskeeper.  http://www.diskeeper.com/defrag.asp

What I like about the full version, is that it allows you to defrag you're hard drive on Boot-Up.  So what that means is, everything is defraged on you're drive before windows has loaded.  Once windows is loaded some files are locked and cannot be defraged, which is where other defrag programs including the lite version included with windows fails.
